Overview

SuperMe is for builders who need to think it through with people who’ve done it before. For the people with that experience, it’s a way to let your work speak for itself, turning what you know into reputation without self-promotion. With SuperMe in Claude, ask a business question to find the people with the most experience on your problem, get instant perspectives grounded in their work, compare answers, and go deeper with that group or individual profiles. You can also search profiles and work groups, ask individual SuperMe profiles, or talk to your own profile. SuperMe brings the people and knowledge you trust into the tools where you already work.

Returns perspectives on the user's question from people who've done the work, through their SuperMes. To focus the perspectives, name people (user_ids from people_search) or a work group (work_group_id from work_group_list) in the ask. The answer arrives through ask_read: call it with the returned ref, and keep calling while status is in_progress.

ask_read

Returns the next part of an ask's answer. Pass the ref from ask or from the last ask_read. Done when status is success or failed. Reading the original ref always returns the latest answer as it grows, follow-ups included.

file_read

Returns a download link for a file the user added, with its name, type and size; the link expires after 15 minutes. status is pending while the bytes have not arrived, expired once the upload window has passed.

For a larger file, call with name and type and no uri: the result carries a put_url; PUT the bytes there within 15 minutes, no authentication or custom headers, then pass file_id to ask. Accepted types: image/png, image/jpeg, image/webp, application/pdf, application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document, application/json, text/plain, text/markdown, text/csv, audio/aac, audio/mp3, audio/x-m4a, audio/mpeg, audio/mpga, audio/opus, audio/webm.

people_profile_read

Returns full profiles of people on SuperMe: their bio, current role and company, skills, work history and education. Pass user_ids from people_search or from a work group's people. Anyone not found or not visible is listed in missing instead.

people_search

Returns people on SuperMe who fit the user's question, each with a short reason. Set query to what the user is looking for in a person and call once. To find people within a SuperMe community or company, pass its profile id in community.
