Overview

TheShop.mu delivers groceries across Mauritius. After connecting their TheShop account once, users can search the catalogue, compare prices with VAT included, keep their cart up to date, check past orders and payment status, see which delivery details would be reused, and place orders within the spending limits they set on theshop.mu. Every order is paid by the customer on a secure payment page; the assistant never handles card details. Access can be revoked at any time from the customer's account page.

Tools

get_order

ChatGPT
One order by order number: status, payment status, total in Mauritian rupees (Rs, MUR), delivery method and item names, plus plain-words paymentSummary, statusSummary and nextStep. Call it after the customer says they paid: paymentSummary tells you whether TheShop received the payment (usually within 1 minute). paymentLink: true also returns a fresh payment link for an unpaid online order (needs the Place orders permission).

get_product

ChatGPT
One product in full, by the slug from search_products / list_products: description, ingredients and allergens, storage advice, certifications, halal status, price in Mauritian rupees (Rs, MUR; VAT included), availability, photos and related products. Reference products by slug or name — never an id. Where the chat shows cards, this result is one: answer in 1 or 2 lines and never repeat what the card shows.

list_orders

ChatGPT
The customer's orders, newest first: order number, status, payment status, total in Mauritian rupees (Rs, MUR), date, item count.

list_products

ChatGPT
Browse the catalogue with filters: category, brand, price range, in stock, on sale, organic, halal, sort, page. Same fields as search_products; prices in Mauritian rupees (Rs, MUR).

meal_plan_groceries

ChatGPT
Work out the groceries for the customer's saved meal plan: every ingredient is added up over the whole plan, matched to a product in stock at TheShop and turned into whole packs from the pack size the shop sells (2 bags of 1 kg rice for 1.8 kg), priced in Mauritian rupees (Rs, MUR; VAT included). Send have (what they already have at home, taken off the total), skip (staples not to buy) and products (a product the customer chose for an ingredient, by slug). The reply carries the lines with their pack counts, an estimated total, items ready for review_order, confirm (a close match or a pack size that could not be read — ask before buying those) and what could not be matched. Call save_meal_plan first.

my_agent_key

ChatGPT
Which TheShop account this connection acts for (account holder's name, masked email) and what it may do: permissions, per-order and monthly spending limits in Mauritian rupees (Rs, MUR), spend so far this month and remaining budget. It also lists what changed in these tools since this connection was made (whatsNew) and how to refresh them, and — for keys that may place orders — the customer's masked delivery defaults. Call this first, and whenever the customer asks whether you are logged in or which account you use: the answer is this account, approved once by the customer on theshop.mu — not a website login.

my_delivery_defaults

ChatGPT
What place_order will use when you omit delivery details: the customer's last-used delivery method, the delivery address on file (label and town only), the collection store, and the contact phone masked to its last 2 digits. The full address and number never leave TheShop. Call this before place_order and confirm with the customer, e.g. "Deliver to Home, Quatre Bornes, phone ending 74?"

my_meal_plan

ChatGPT
The customer's saved meal plan on TheShop: the days and meals with their recipe names, how many people it serves, today's menu (Mauritius date) and whether the groceries were worked out (with the items, in Mauritian rupees (Rs, MUR)). Use it for what's for dinner, what is planned this week or whether the shopping is done. Name at most 3 meals; the Meal plan page on theshop.mu shows the rest.

my_shopping_habits

ChatGPT
How often the customer shops and what they buy regularly, worked out from their own order history: a plain sentence for the rhythm (about every week / 2 weeks / month) and up to 6 regular products with how often each comes back. This ONE call is the whole answer to "how often do I shop" and "what do I usually buy" — never list their orders to work it out, and never open orders one by one. Orders that were cancelled or never completed are already left out. When hasData is false, say the message in one line and stop. Name any product by its slug, never an id. Where the chat shows cards, this result is one: answer in 1 or 2 lines and never repeat what the card shows.

my_shopping_lists

ChatGPT
The customer's saved shopping lists on TheShop (their Lists page on theshop.mu, filled on the website or with save_shopping_list). Without name: each list's name and how many products it holds. With name — or when there is only 1 list — that list in full: each product by slug and name, its quantity, price in Mauritian rupees (Rs, MUR; VAT included) and availability by the website's own stock, and how many are in stock now. To buy it, send its in-stock products with their quantities to set_cart_item, or to review_order to order it. Name at most 3 products in your answer; the Lists page shows the rest.

place_order

ChatGPT
Place an order for the customer. deliveryMethod, addressId or collectStoreId, and contactPhone are optional: whatever you omit is filled from the customer's last order (call my_delivery_defaults first and confirm with the customer); the reply's delivery object says what was used, phone masked. Amounts are Mauritian rupees (Rs, MUR). The AI places it; a HUMAN pays: with paymentMethodType "online" the reply carries a checkoutUrl payment link to hand to the customer. Always send clientRequestId (reuse it on retries — a replay returns the same order) and expectedTotal (the total you showed the customer; a drifted total returns 409 TOTAL_MISMATCH with the server total to re-quote). Spending limits are enforced server-side (409 when exceeded). While the store is in early access, placement returns 403 preview_locked.

review_order

ChatGPT
Prepare the order for the customer to check before it is placed — nothing is placed or charged. Same arguments as place_order minus clientRequestId and expectedTotal: name each product by its slug; omit deliveryMethod, addressId/collectStoreId and contactPhone (or send "default") to reuse the customer's last-used details. The reply carries every item with its price, the delivery details (phone masked), the price breakdown and the total in Mauritian rupees (Rs, MUR; VAT included), plus a reviewId valid for 30 minutes. Where the chat shows cards, this result is one: answer in 1 or 2 lines and never repeat what the card shows. The card shows every item with its photo and, when the customer has not said how to pay, asks with buttons. When they confirm, call place_order with the same items, the reviewId and expectedTotal = this total. Call this before every place_order: place_order without a valid reviewId answers with this review instead of placing.

search_products

ChatGPT
Search the TheShop catalogue by words (product, brand, category). Returns products with id, name, brand, price in Mauritian rupees (Rs, MUR; VAT included), availability and a suggested spelling when nothing matches. Reference products by id, slug or name only.

set_cart_item

ChatGPT
Set the quantity of one product in the customer's TheShop cart (0 removes it). The customer sees the cart on the website; placing an order uses items you pass to place_order, not the cart.
