Overview
TODAY gives advisors read-only access to their own customer and meeting data inside ChatGPT. Search your customers and calls, open a specific call for attendees, summaries, and CRM fields, and read the aggregated facts TODAY has captured across your meetings with a customer. Every result is limited to records the signed-in advisor can already see in TODAY. Use it to prepare for a meeting, recap what was discussed, or check the details captured in a customer's profile. TODAY is read-only in ChatGPT: it does not create, edit, or delete anything.

get_customer_cumulative_facts
ChatGPTReturn the cumulative facts known about a customer. These are the key facts (e.g. phone number, date of birth, income, retirement age) extracted from all of this advisor's calls with the customer and merged into a single view — unlike get_customer_extracted_data, which returns raw per-meeting extractions. Use after search finds a customer_id. Stated facts only; do not use them to infer personality or intent.
get_customer_extracted_data
ChatGPTReturn CRM fields from this advisor's meetings with a customer. Use after search finds a customer_id. Newest meetings first. The backend only returns customers linked to the caller and calls they ran.
get_profile
ChatGPTReturn the profile represented by this request's credentials. The opaque id is the stable TODAY user id; it stays the same across token refresh, reconnection, and display-metadata changes.
search
ChatGPTSearch customers, calls, and other indexed entities. Same data and permissions as the advisor's search bar. For a customer name, keep the default indexes="customers,calls": advisors only see customers linked to them, but their calls with a customer still match by name. Use the customer_id from either index with get_customer_extracted_data, or get_call for a matching call. For recent call history, use an empty phrase, indexes="calls", time_range="past", scope="own", and limit=5. Then get_call.
