Zovo Baby Names

Zovo Baby Names

By Zovo

Learn about US baby-name popularity using the Social Security Administration's national baby-name records for 1880 to 2025. Ask about one name or compare up to five. For each name you get the 2025 rank and number of babies, the change over the last 10 years, the peak year, the highest rank it ever reached, total babies since 1880, and the girls/boys split. An interactive line chart shows births or rank by year, with hover values and chips to add or remove names. Ask about a specific year, such as Jennifer in 1975, and you get that year's births and rank. Looking for ideas? Find baby names for girls, boys or both by first letter, ending, letters contained, length and approximate syllables. Filter by 2025 popularity (top 100, ranks 101-200, familiar but not common at ranks 201-1,000, uncommon, rare), list the fastest-rising names over any period up to 50 years, find vintage names that were popular in 1910-1930 and are rare now, names popular in a chosen era, or unisex names where girls are 40-60% of recent babies. Each result shows its 2025 rank, births, a trend arrow and a small sparkline; tap one to see its full history. Ranks follow SSA numbering: births in descending order, ties broken alphabetically. Past years are ranked within the top 1,000; 2025 ranks cover the listed names. Limitations: US data only. Spelling variants are separate names (Aiden, Ayden, Aidan). SSA does not list a name in a year when fewer than 5 babies of one sex got it. Yearly detail covers names with 500+ US births since 1880, any 2025 births, or a past top-1,000 rank. No name meanings, origins or pronunciations; syllable counts are approximate.

Zovo Barcode Maker

Zovo Barcode Maker

By Zovo

A barcode generator for business operations: product labels, shelf and warehouse labels, cartons and books. Zovo Barcode Maker draws EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, GS1-128, Code 39, ITF-14, ISBN and ISSN barcodes following the GS1 and ISO symbol specifications and gives you a vector SVG and a PNG for printing. Check digits are computed when you leave them off and verified when you include them. If a check digit is wrong, you get the arithmetic step by step and the corrected number, so you can catch a typo before you print. Validate a UPC, EAN, GTIN-14, SSCC, ISBN or ISSN number on its own, convert ISBN-10 to ISBN-13, expand UPC-E to UPC-A, or compress a UPC-A to UPC-E. Code 128 switches between code sets A, B and C automatically to keep the symbol short. GS1-128 accepts Application Identifiers in parentheses, for example (01) GTIN, (17) expiry date, (10) batch/lot and (21) serial, validates their lengths, dates and check digits, and inserts FNC1 separators where GS1 requires them. Each barcode comes with its calculated print size and GS1 size guidance: magnification (EAN-13 at 100% is 37.29 x 25.93 mm, allowed range 80% to 200%), X-dimension, bar height and quiet zones. ITF-14 carton codes include bearer bars. Book barcodes show the ISBN above the bars and can carry a 2- or 5-digit add-on. Set your label printer resolution (203, 300 or 600 dpi) and bar widths snap to whole printer dots for cleaner bar edges. The SVG uses the calculated module widths and outlined text, so it needs no fonts. The PNG embeds its print resolution, so it prints at the stated size in apps that honour the embedded resolution. In the preview you can change the size, printer resolution and human-readable text, then download. Important: this tool draws barcodes for numbers you already have. It does not issue GS1 company prefixes or GTINs. Real retail UPC and EAN numbers must be licensed from GS1 through your national GS1 member organisation; ISBNs come from your national ISBN agency. Limitations: one barcode per request; no 2D codes (QR, Data Matrix); it cannot scan barcode images or look up products or their owners.

Zovo Big Five Test

Zovo Big Five Test

By Zovo

Take a Big Five personality test right in the chat and get exact, explainable scores. Zovo Big Five Test uses the public-domain IPIP 50-item Big-Five Factor Markers (Goldberg, 1992), a research questionnaire used in many published studies. The widget shows one statement at a time with a progress bar and a back button, and your answers stay in the widget until you submit. Scoring follows the published key: each trait has ten items, reverse-keyed items are scored as 6 minus your answer, and every trait gets a raw score from 10 to 50. Your results cover the five broad traits: Extraversion, Agreeableness, Conscientiousness, Emotional Stability and Intellect/Imagination (often called Openness). Each trait shows the raw score, an approximate percentile, a low/average/high band and a short plain-language description. Percentiles compare you with more than 600,000 online volunteers who answered the same 50 items (Open-Source Psychometrics Project data set); they are a reference point, not a population norm, and the result says so. Share it: download an SVG share card with your five bars, or open a share page. Anyone with the link can take the same test in their browser, see their own scores and compare with yours side by side. Links contain only the five scores and an optional first name, never your answers. You can also compare two people's scores in the chat, for friends, partners, siblings or students in a class. Comparisons show differences per trait only and make no compatibility claims. Already answered the 50 items on paper? Give the 50 answers (1-5, in item order) and the tool scores them, naming any missing item numbers. Limitations: a self-report description for curiosity and self-reflection, ages 13+. It is not a diagnosis, not a mental-health assessment and not a hiring or selection tool. It measures the five broad domains, not facets, in English. It reports trait scores, not four-letter personality types.

Zovo Bill Splitter

Zovo Bill Splitter

By Zovo

Split the bill without the awkward math. Zovo Bill Splitter works out who owes who for friends, roommates, couples, and travel groups, right in the chat, and every amount is exact to the cent. Split a restaurant bill item by item. Say who had what, and tax, tip, and service charge are shared in proportion to each person's pre-tax subtotal, with coupons applied before tax. Shares are rounded with the largest-remainder method, so they always add up to the exact total; you can also round everyone up to whole units. Tap a name on an item in the card to change who shared it, or switch the tip between 15, 18, 20, and 25 percent. Settle group expenses. Add every shared cost from a trip, a vacation rental, or a month of household bills, each split equally, by exact amounts, by percentages, or by shares. You get each person's balance (paid minus share, always summing to zero) and the fewest payments that settle everyone, such as "Ben pays Ana 36.00". Copy the list, mark a payment as done, or download a CSV of payments, balances, and expenses. Split rent fairly by room size, with a shared-space portion split per occupant, or by income, with adjustments for a private bathroom, couples sharing a room, and utilities. What you get: - Itemized bill splitting with unequal portions, tax and tip by percent or amount, service charges, delivery fees, and round-up - Group settle-up with the fewest possible payments (exact search for up to 18 people with a balance) - Equal, exact, percentage, and share-based splits per expense - Rent split by square feet or square metres, shared space, or income - Any ISO 4217 currency with correct decimals; yen has none, dinar has three Limitations: Zovo Bill Splitter calculates only. It does not send payment requests, move money, read receipt photos by itself, or remember a group between conversations. One currency per calculation, with no currency conversion. Not financial or legal advice.

Zovo Date Calculator

Zovo Date Calculator

By Zovo

Zovo Date Calculator is a date calculator and business days calculator for exact answers to questions like "how many days between dates", "business days between two dates" and "what date is 30 business days from today". Count days between dates: get calendar days, weeks and days, and years, months and days, with or without the end date. Count working days excluding weekends and public holidays for 200+ countries and their states and regions: US states such as Texas, California, Florida and North Carolina, German Lander, UK nations (England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland), Australian states, Canadian provinces and more. Every answer lists the holidays it skipped by name. When a holiday falls on a weekend, the weekday it is observed on is skipped instead (for example, US Independence Day 2027 is a Sunday, so Monday July 5 is not a business day), and the weekend date is not counted twice. Days before or after a date: find the date that is N calendar days or N business days before or after a date, for contract, shipping and project deadlines. Optionally move a deadline that lands on a weekend or holiday to the next business day, and save it to your calendar as an .ics file. List public holidays for a country or state and year, with weekday and weekend flags, and download them as CSV. The interactive view shows month calendars with the range, weekends and named holidays, and lets you switch between calendar and business days, include the end date, or change the dates. Also supports custom weekends (for example Friday and Saturday) and custom closure days. Limitations: results are informational; court and filing deadlines can follow special rules such as court holidays, so confirm with the governing rules. Holiday data comes from the open-source date-holidays project (1950 to 2200). Dates only: times of day and time zones are not handled.

Zovo Family Tree

Zovo Family Tree

By Zovo

Describe your relatives in plain words and get a correctly laid-out family tree you can print. Zovo Family Tree turns names, birth and death years, parents and marriages into a genealogy chart where every generation sits on its own row, couples stand side by side, children run in birth order, and remarriages keep half-siblings under the right parents. Adopted children get a dashed line, twins share a branch, divorces are marked, and people who link two branches (for example cousins who married) are shown in both places with a star. Choose the chart that fits: all relatives on one chart, the descendants of one person or couple, a pedigree chart of one person's ancestors (up to 6 generations), an hourglass with ancestors above and descendants below, or a half-circle fan chart. The layout is a tidy-tree algorithm, so boxes never overlap, even with 200 people. The preview zooms and pans on phone and desktop and switches chart type in one tap. Downloads include vector PDF posters in US Letter, A4, A2, 18 x 24 in and 24 x 36 in, each auto-fitted with a title such as "The Kowalski Family" and the printed name size for every paper, an SVG for editing, and a GEDCOM 5.5.1 file that imports into genealogy software. It also answers "how are we related?" exactly: second cousin once removed, half-brother, great-aunt, mother-in-law, stepsister, with the closest common ancestors and the number of generations on each side. Names print in Latin scripts (including Polish and other accented letters), Greek, Cyrillic and Japanese. Limitations: it does not research ancestors or search records, and it does not import GEDCOM files or photos. Charts hold up to 200 people; very large trees may need one chart per branch for the download links. Chinese simplified characters, Korean, Arabic and Hebrew names show in the SVG but not in the PDF. Relationship names are in English.

Zovo Focus Timer

Zovo Focus Timer

By Zovo

Plan work sessions and run pomodoro timers right in the conversation. Ask for a 25/5 or 50/10 pomodoro timer for studying, a countdown timer for a talk or a workout set, or a work/rest interval timer, and Zovo Focus Timer shows a live countdown with a progress ring, the current phase, round dots, and Start, Pause, Skip, and Reset buttons. A soft chime marks the end of each focus block and break (it can be muted). The timer is calculated from a stored end time rather than by counting ticks, so it stays accurate when the tab is in the background or the device is busy. If the timer was running while you were away, it catches up to the right phase when you come back. Plan a study or work session: say "I have 3 hours to study until 5pm" or "plan pomodoros from 9:00 to 12:30 with a lunch break" and Zovo Focus Timer fits as many whole pomodoros as the window allows, skips your fixed breaks, and lists blocks with clock times, total focus minutes, and any spare time. If the standard 15-minute long break would cost you a block (3 hours fits 6 pomodoros with a 10-minute long break, but only 5 with a 15-minute one), it shortens the long break and tells you; set your own long break to keep it. Give a time zone as a city, an IANA name, or an abbreviation such as EST, and clock times stay correct across daylight-saving changes, including nights when the clocks go back and an hour repeats. Download an .ics calendar file to add each focus block to your calendar app, then start the live timer from the plan; if you start during the planned window it lines up with the clock. Good for studying, deep work, writing, exam revision, practice sessions, and interval training. Limitations: the timer runs while the conversation is open and cannot send phone notifications; sessions are limited to 24 hours; plans schedule whole focus blocks only; focus history is not saved between conversations.

Zovo GPA Calc

Zovo GPA Calc

By Zovo

A GPA calculator for high school and college students that shows its work. List your courses with letter grades or percentages and credit hours, and Zovo GPA Calc returns your unweighted and weighted GPA to two and three decimals, your cumulative GPA when you add your current GPA and credits, and a quality points table you can check line by line. The interactive table lets you change a grade, credits, or course level (regular, honors, AP, IB, dual enrollment), add or remove courses, and see the GPA tiles and grade distribution update. It also points out the single course whose one-letter improvement would raise your GPA the most. Two planning tools answer the next questions students ask: what GPA you need next semester to reach a target cumulative GPA (and a clear answer when the target is out of reach this term, with how many credits it would take), and what score you need on a final exam to finish a course with the grade you want, with the score needed for an A, B, C, or D. Both show the formula and have an interactive view where you can change the numbers. Schools use different scales, so you can set A+ to 4.0 or 4.3, change the honors, AP, IB, and dual-enrollment bonuses, set your own percent cutoffs, or override letter points. Pass/fail, withdrawn, and incomplete courses are kept out of the GPA. Limitations: results follow the scale you choose and may differ from the GPA your school reports; some schools cap or limit weighting differently; it does not read transcripts or predict admissions decisions.

Zovo Meeting Planner

Zovo Meeting Planner

By Zovo

A time zone converter and meeting planner that gets daylight saving time right. Convert time zones with a date: ask for 3pm PST on November 3 in Warsaw and Sydney, EST to IST, or New York to London, and Zovo Meeting Planner returns the same moment in every place with its UTC offset, abbreviation, a +1 day marker when the date changes, and the hour difference. It uses the full IANA time zone database, so it handles the weeks in March and October/November when the US and Europe change clocks on different dates (New York and London are 4 hours apart, not 5), half-hour and 45-minute zones such as India and Nepal, and Lord Howe Island's 30-minute daylight saving shift. When a clock change happens within 7 days, it says so. Times that do not exist (clocks spring forward) are explained and moved; times that happen twice (clocks fall back) show both. Time zone converter for meetings: give 2 to 8 places, a date or a range of up to 14 days, and a meeting length. The meeting planner ranks distinct slots by how many people are inside working hours and how early or late it is for the person worst off (night hours and days off count extra), and shows a 24-hour timeline per place with working hours shaded. When a time works for everyone, it shows the whole window of start times that keep everyone inside working hours and the other days with the same local times. When no time in your dates works for everyone, it finds the closest one in the following week. Set working hours per person, or work weeks such as Sunday-Thursday. Tap any hour to check another start time, and download a calendar (.ics) file for the slot you pick. Places can be any of about 500 cities, a city with its state or country (Portland, Maine), US states, countries, IANA zone names (Europe/Berlin), UTC offsets (UTC+5:30), or abbreviations like PST, CET, IST, AEST. Ambiguous abbreviations are flagged. Limitations: it does not read or write your calendar, check availability, or send invitations, and public holidays are not considered.

Zovo Name Wheel

Zovo Name Wheel

By Zovo

Spin the wheel right in the chat. Zovo Name Wheel is a wheel spinner and random name picker for classrooms, team meetings, streams, and game nights. Paste a list of names or options and an animated wheel spins and lands on the winner. The winner is chosen on the server with a cryptographic random generator and unbiased rejection sampling, so every slot on the wheel has exactly equal odds, and the wheel animation always stops on that exact winner. Each entry's chance is shown. What you can do: - Wheel spinner with names: 2 to 200 names or options, one or several winners per spin - Random name picker that removes each winner, so everyone gets called once - Weighted or custom wheel: repeat an entry or set a weight to give it a bigger slice (food wheel, chores, yes or no wheel); repeats are matched ignoring upper and lower case - Edit entries, shuffle the wheel, remove the winner, and spin again from the card - Random team generator: split a group into a number of teams or by team size, with sizes that differ by at most one, and optional rules to keep certain people apart or together; copy the teams with one click - Random number picker for a range, with or without repeats Good for picking who presents next, choosing a student to answer, splitting a class or a five-a-side game into teams, deciding where to eat, or choosing the next game on a stream. Limitations: this is for fun, classroom, and team decisions. It is not for lotteries, gambling, betting, or raffles and prize draws that have legal requirements. Spins are not stored, so results cannot be audited or replayed later. Teams are random, not balanced by skill.

Zovo Palette Lab

Zovo Palette Lab

By Zovo

A WCAG color contrast checker and accessible color palette generator for designers, front-end developers and accessibility reviewers. Check one pair: give a text colour and a background in hex (with or without #), 8-digit hex with alpha, rgb(), hsl(), hwb(), lab(), lch(), oklab(), oklch(), color(display-p3 ...) or a CSS colour name. Wide-gamut colours are clipped to sRGB with a note. Zovo Palette Lab returns the computed WCAG 2.x contrast ratio and pass or fail for AA and AAA normal text, large text (24px, or 18.66px bold) and 3:1 for UI components and graphics. Ratios are truncated to two decimals and rounded down, so a ratio of 4.499:1 is shown as 4.49 and fails AA instead of looking like a pass. Translucent text is composited over the background first, the way browsers paint it in sRGB. When a pair fails, it suggests the nearest passing colours for AA and AAA, both darker and lighter, by changing only OKLCH lightness so the hue and chroma of your brand colour stay as close as sRGB allows. Each suggestion comes with its calculated ratio. APCA Lc is shown as secondary, clearly labelled draft information. Check a whole palette: 2 to 12 colours become a pairwise contrast matrix showing which combinations work for body text, large text and UI, plus a recommended text colour for each background (a palette colour that passes AA, otherwise black or white). Generate an accessible color palette from one hex colour: a 50-950 tonal scale built in OKLCH where 50-400 pass AA with black text, 500 passes AA with both white and black text, 600 passes AA with white text and 700-950 pass AAA with white text. Each step lists its ratios on white and black. Download CSS custom properties (with a Tailwind v4 @theme block) or a Tailwind config JSON, or copy the snippets. The interactive view shows live swatches with sample text at real sizes, ratio badges, pass and fail chips, colour pickers that re-run the check, a palette matrix and copy buttons. Limitations: works with colour values only (it does not read colours from images, screenshots or web pages, resolve CSS variables or currentColor, or rate a gradient as a whole, so check each gradient stop); a contrast ratio is one part of accessibility, not a full conformance audit; APCA is informational only.

Zovo Project Timeline

Zovo Project Timeline

By Zovo

A Gantt chart maker and project timeline planner that works inside the chat. List your tasks with durations and dependencies and a start date, and Zovo Project Timeline builds the schedule with the critical path method (CPM): early start, early finish, late start, late finish and total float for every task, the critical path, your milestones and the project completion date. Plan on business days that skip weekends and the public holidays of the country you choose (with regional holidays, local weekends such as Friday-Saturday where they apply, and your own days off such as a year-end shutdown), or on plain calendar days. Durations can be given in days or weeks. Dependencies are finish-to-start and can carry a lag ("Design+2") or a lead ("Build-3"); tasks can have a start-no-earlier-than date, an owner, and zero-length milestones. The interactive Gantt chart has a day and week time axis, task bars, dependency arrows, the critical path in red, float shown after each bar, milestones as diamonds and a today line. On a phone the chart scrolls sideways while task names stay pinned. Tap any task for its dates and float, and test what happens if a task slips: the new end date and critical path appear in the card. Ask what-if questions in the chat too, for example how many days a slip moves the finish and which tasks become critical; Zovo Project Timeline compares up to four scenarios against the plan. Downloads: a CSV schedule for spreadsheets, an .ics calendar file with milestones and task start dates, and an SVG image of the Gantt chart for slides and documents. The schedule is computed deterministically, so the same inputs always give the same dates. Dependency loops and references to tasks that do not exist are explained in plain language, naming the tasks involved. Limitations: finish-to-start links only (no start-to-start or finish-to-finish), whole-day scheduling without resource levelling, costs or progress tracking, and plans are not saved or synced with project tools.

Zovo Spreadsheet Compare

Zovo Spreadsheet Compare

By Zovo

Compare two versions of a spreadsheet and get the full list of differences as a file, not just a few examples. Attach the old and the new CSV or Excel file (a product list, inventory export, employee roster, budget, product catalog or CRM export) and Zovo Spreadsheet Compare lists the rows that were added, the rows that were removed, and the rows that changed, cell by cell: the old value, the new value, the change and the percent change for numbers. Rows are matched by a key column, such as SKU, Employee ID or email. Zovo Spreadsheet Compare finds the key automatically (unique and stable in both files) and tells you why it chose it; you can name your own key, including two columns together such as Store + Product code. When a file has no key, rows are matched by their content. Rows can be in any order. It handles the things that make spreadsheet comparisons noisy: columns that were moved, renamed, added or removed; extra spaces; numbers written as 1,200.00 in one file and 1200 in the other; European formats such as 1.234,56; dates stored as text in one file and as Excel dates in the other; total and subtotal rows (left out of the comparison and listed); repeated header rows; blank rows; and a renumbered key (one change, not a removal plus an addition). You can ignore columns, ignore upper/lower case, and set a tolerance for rounding. Downloads: an Excel workbook with a Summary sheet, a Changed sheet with old and new values side by side, a Cell changes sheet with one row per changed cell, Added and Removed sheets, and the new version annotated with each row's status, plus a CSV of all changes. A second tool summarizes the changes by column: how many values went up or down, the total and average change, and the largest increases and decreases. Limitations: CSV, TSV and Excel .xlsx files (save older .xls files as .xlsx); one sheet per file per comparison; up to 50,000 rows per file. Formulas are compared by their saved values. Files are read once, and downloads expire after about an hour.

Zovo Spreadsheet Merge

Zovo Spreadsheet Merge

By Zovo

Merge two spreadsheets on an ID column, the VLOOKUP job, and see how each row matched. Attach two CSV or XLSX files (or one workbook with two sheets, or paste the tables) and Zovo Spreadsheet Merge joins them on a key column such as customer ID, SKU or invoice number. It picks the key for you and explains why, or you name it, including a key made of two columns. Real exports rarely line up character for character. Zovo Spreadsheet Merge cleans keys in a fixed order and counts each step: extra spaces, upper/lower case, look-alike characters (Cyrillic letters, full-width digits, en dashes, accents), XLSX number formatting (12345.0, 1.2345E+05, 12,345), dashes and spaces inside IDs, leading zeros (C00123 = C123) and a letter prefix used by only one file (C123 = 123). The result says how many rows matched as typed and how many needed each clean-up, with examples. You can turn any clean-up off. If two different keys would become the same, those rows are left unmatched and listed as ambiguous instead of being guessed. Rows that still do not match are listed for both files with a likely reason: blank key, an ID outside the other file's range, a gap in the range, a different ID format, XLSX scientific notation that dropped digits, or a near miss with the closest real key. Duplicate keys in the lookup file are counted, with the rows they would add to the merge, and a many-to-many explosion is capped with a warning. Total rows and repeated header rows are removed and listed. Downloads: an XLSX workbook (Merged, Unmatched left, Unmatched right, Duplicates, Summary) and a merged CSV. Left join keeps all left rows like VLOOKUP; inner and full joins are available. It also stacks many files into one: up to 24 monthly exports whose column names or order changed during the year (Amount vs Amt, Date vs Txn Date). Columns are aligned by identical name, then the same name with different spacing, then a synonym table, then fuzzy matches listed for you to confirm. A Source file column is added, dates are read with the day/month order decided once per file, EU number formats are handled, and each column decision is listed in the workbook. Limitations: CSV, TSV and .xlsx only (save older .xls files as .xlsx); up to 100,000 rows per file for joins and 200,000 rows in total when stacking. Files are read once and downloads expire after about an hour. It does not do mail merge (letters, labels, emails).

Zovo Tournament Maker

Zovo Tournament Maker

By Zovo

Make a tournament bracket in the chat, record results by clicking the winners, and print it. Tournament bracket maker: single elimination and double elimination brackets for 2 to 128 players or teams. Standard seeding puts seed 1 against the lowest seed, so seeds 1 and 2 can only meet in the final; when the field is not a power of two (a bracket for 6, 10 or 12 teams), the byes go to the top seeds and are placed exactly where a seeded bracket needs them. Add a third-place match, or use double elimination with a losers bracket and a grand final with an optional reset match. Seeding can follow your ranking, a reproducible random draw, or the order you list. Round robin schedule generator: everyone plays everyone exactly once (or home and away), nobody plays twice in a round, one team sits out each round when the number is odd, and home and away games are balanced. Swiss pairings: players with the same score meet each round, with no rematches whenever they can be avoided, and a fair rotation of byes. Timetable: give the number of courts, tables or fields, the match length and the start time to get a start time and court for every match and the finish time of the event. Results and standings: tell it who won, or click a player in the bracket, and winners advance, the next matches appear and the champion and final places are shown. Round robin tables use points, then head-to-head, then score difference; Swiss tables use Buchholz. Print and share: a landscape PDF bracket that stays readable up to 64 players, with an order-of-play page, and a CSV schedule for spreadsheets. For coaches, teachers, clubs, office leagues, school sports days and gaming nights. Limitations: up to 128 participants; round robin up to 500 matches; Swiss pairing is a simplified score-group method without chess colour allocation; timetables assume equal match lengths.

Zovo Typing Test

Zovo Typing Test

By Zovo

Take a typing speed test without leaving the chat. Zovo Typing Test opens a live test card: the passage appears, the timer starts on your first keystroke, and every letter turns green or red as you type. When time is up you get your WPM, raw WPM, accuracy, errors, consistency, and a chart of your speed for each second. Choose 15, 30, 60 or 120 seconds (or any length up to 10 minutes, for example a 5-minute test for a dispatcher or clerk job), or type one full passage. Pick common words, sentences with punctuation, words mixed with numbers, or code snippets. You can also paste your own paragraph and be tested on exactly that text. After each test the card lists your weakest keys and builds a practice drill from words that use them. Download a result card (SVG, for example "62 WPM · 97% accuracy · 60 s") or send a friend a challenge link: it opens the same passage in any browser, shows your score to beat, and scores their run the same way. How scoring works (the standard formula, computed exactly on the server): - Typed words are compared with the passage word by word, letter by letter. A wrong letter is an error, a letter beyond the end of a word is an extra, and letters skipped when you jump to the next word are missed. A space between words counts as one character. - WPM = (correct characters / 5) / minutes. Raw WPM uses all typed characters. - Accuracy = correct characters / (correct characters + errors). - Consistency = 100% × (1 − standard deviation ÷ mean) of your speed in each second. Works on phones with the on-screen keyboard, including autocorrect and IME input. Curly quotes and dashes from phone keyboards count as their plain keyboard versions. Good for job-test practice (data entry, medical scribe, 911 dispatcher, clerk), classrooms, anyone learning to type, and quick warm-ups. Limitations: passages are in English (custom text can be in any language your keyboard types); results are not saved between conversations and there is no leaderboard; a timed test runs from 10 seconds to 10 minutes.

Zovo Word Counter

Zovo Word Counter

By Zovo

Zovo Word Counter gives exact counts for any text you paste into the chat: words, characters with and without spaces, letters, sentences, paragraphs, lines, and unique words. Every number comes from documented, deterministic rules instead of an estimate, so a 1,500-word essay limit or a 280-character post is checked precisely. For students and academic writers: count words without citations. Zovo Word Counter can leave out APA and MLA in-text citations such as (Smith, 2020) or (Smith 23), quoted passages, headings, and the reference list or works cited, then shows how many words each exclusion removed. Check a minimum and maximum word count and see exactly where to cut. For writers, speakers, and marketers: reading time at 238 words per minute, speaking time at 150 words per minute, Flesch reading ease and Flesch-Kincaid grade for English, top keywords with density, the longest sentence, and warnings for sentences over 25 and 40 words. For social media and SEO: checks X (Twitter) posts with its weighted counting rules (every link counts as 23 characters, emoji and CJK characters count as 2), Threads (500), Bluesky (300 graphemes), LinkedIn posts (3,000), Instagram captions (2,200), SEO title tags (60), meta descriptions (155-160), and SMS messages (160 GSM-7 or 70 Unicode characters per segment, with the characters that force Unicode). When text is too long, it shows the last words that fit and how much to remove. Works with English, Polish, German, Spanish, French, and other space-separated languages, and splits Japanese, Chinese, and Thai text into words, with CJK character counts. Privacy: text is processed in memory only to compute the counts. It is not stored or logged, and results contain counts plus short excerpts (such as where to cut) rather than your full text. Limitations: up to 100,000 characters per request; files such as PDF or Word documents cannot be opened directly, so paste the text. Citation and heading detection follows common APA and MLA patterns and may miss unusual formats. Readability scores are English-only estimates.
